The Amazon Distribution Center in Lakeland, Florida is on 47.2 acres adjacent to the Lakeland Linder International Airport and is anticipated to create 1,000 jobs. The 285,000 square-foot air cargo complex will consist of a seven-jet cargo space and the airport is expected to upgrade the landing systems at the airport, add five fuel tanks, and improve one of the runways.
